A little about Me
I started my journey to become a physical therapist when I was 14 years old, every choice from then on brought me to where and who I am today.
An east coast girl, chose to jump across the country to attend the number one Doctor of Physical Therapy program in the country, USC. Followed by a year of residency at Northwestern and the Rehab Institute of Chicago, the number one rehab hospital in the country. I don’t highlight this to brag, I highlight this to emphasize that I knew if I wanted to treat at my best and be the best for my clients, I knew I had to train with the best.
I first moved to Philly in 2017 and fell in love with lifting. Ever since, I’ve been on a path to bridge the gap between formal rehabilitation and strength training. Because “good” movement for your body is, and should be, rooted in strength. Having earned my SFGI, I know find myself coaching at one of the premiere kettle bell gyms in Philadelphia, KG Strong.
I’ve worked with amateur to professional athletes. But being in Philadelphia I have an even deeper love for sports rehabilitation and performance. Go Birds!!

The point I want highlighted with credentials is typically, those that have them did have to go through additional training/education to acquire them. However, these letter do not make or break a clinician and their practice.
Experience and application of knowledge is what makes a great clinician and/or a great coach. I have continual sought out “the best” in the field in order to gain knowledge and experience with those who are knowledgable and experienced.
I’ve worked and continue to work my hardest so my clients can benefit.
** Girya means Kettlebell. Through Strong First there are 2 levels for kettlebell instruction, as well as across many other strength apparatus. If one can complete the main four one will be recognized as Strong First Elite, I title held by the strongest, most dedicated and the few.
